Exquisite dining with classic hospitality flair is what awaits you at Miss Amelie. This modern European restaurant is nestled in the heritage Railway Station building, with rustic charm aplenty in the form of well-worn brick archways, a wall of greenery, and intimate table settings. The ideal setting for a family catch-up or romantic rendezvous. Perhaps indulge in a six course Degustation menu, offered Wed-Sat, or decide between two or three courses. Make sure to leave room for our signature dessert, the Lemon Souffle.

Miss Amelie was founded in 2016 by David Kapay. Born out of COVID-19 were the Miss Amelie Gourmet stores, which have since spread across the border and into the Melbourne markets with their gourmet pies. As Kapay began to wind down from the years of servitude in the hospitality scene, he stepped away from the Miss Amelie Gourmet venture in early 2022. In mid-2023 Kapay sold the originating Miss Amelie restaurant to his then Head Chef Isaac Rich.

Rich has since continued on with the legacy left behind, gaining another accolade from the Australian Good Food Guide (AFGF) for 2024. The restaurant holds high regard for its loyal patrons following the handover, continuing to produce fantastic meals and elegant dining experiences for those living on the Border and traveling through.
